In 2003, a partnership was formed between Contribuables Associés, the French Tax Payers Union (the creator and financer) and the Batoky Association, L'Association "Bastiat, Tocqueville & Cie" (the organizer) to make the Tocqueville Fellowship happen.

Created to give promising French activists the opportunity to visit the U.S. with the goal of not only strengthening their convictions but also to teach them the techniques to put them into action.
